With the interior framing completed, the mechancial, electrical and plumbing sub-contractors can get to work. The electrical panel is a 200 AMP capacity panel. The mechanical system is a ground water source heat-pump with a natural gas furnace back-up. The furnace fan will run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year at low speed to circulate and help filter the air. If necessary, the furnace will fire when it gets too cold outside for the heat pump to completely heat the air. The heat pump will also produce the hot water necessary for in-floor radiant heat in the basement of the house and the garage floor.
