Looking towards the north. The peaked wall is the north wall of the master bedroom. If you look closely, you can see a pocket in the top of the peak. There is a column integrated into the panel to take the load of the ridge beam (yet to be placed) and transfer through to the foundation. A similar panel can be found in the wall dining room wall below.
